For over 26 years, Dr. Sandra Metzger has been an innovator in the field of education. As EdQualis’ Senior Learning Consultant, Sandra applies her experience as a strategic leader, collaborator, and problem solver. Sandra holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership, a master’s in Curriculum and Instruction, and multiple undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Spanish Secondary Education and Biblical Theology. She loves to learn and influence the learning journeys of others, inspiring them to embrace their infinite possibilities. Her research focuses on the power of collaboration, reflection, and diversity to motivate learning.
Sandra’s experience in teaching and educational leadership spans the gamut, including public, private, and homeschool, and on-site, online, and blended. She has taught all ages and organized meaningful learning experiences in both formal and informal settings. Sandra is also a current Adjunct Professor for Indiana Wesleyan University in their Doctor of Business Administration program – a program she helped design in her former position as Director of Learning Innovation for IWU. Her passion for problem-based learning, authentic assessment strategies, critical thinking, teamwork, and student agency is reflected in the award-winning design of the program. Sandra presents often on these topics at conferences and provides coaching and consulting for Software Built By Design’s training and education partners.
